My heart felt condolences go out to Leo’s loving family. I feel truly blessed to have crossed paths with such a warm caring soul like Leo. That friendly smile of his certainly helped us staff and fellow residents get to know and love him. Genuinely kind hearted and sweet, he always had a smile on his face that made my job so much more enjoyable. His genuinely good heart shown through and his children also have that same friendly welcoming smile. It didn’t take long for us to see that he was an amazing father and the sweetest husband ever. A gentle and kind man that absolutely adored his family. I would watch while he sat with the love of his life, watching in awe, praying that I too would someday have that very same
kind of loving husband in my life. The love he had for his family and they gave in return was simply beautiful to witness. There wasn’t one staff member who’s heart didn’t melt the first day they met Leo. Thank you all so much for opening your hearts and allowing him to be a part of our lives. I hope that you all know just how much we loved Leo and felt he was part of our family. Work is not the same since he passed. Residents all asking about him and they cried along with us staff. Leo touched many hearts. We all will miss that kind smile.
