Mrs. Stroble and Robin,

I am saddened by the news and at the same time flooded with memories of my childhood and being welcomed at your home. One of my lifetime regrets is not reaching out to you when Willy passed, but my thoughts and prayers were with you then as they are now. I can still here Merton's voice on the answering machine, and can almost repeat it word for word. One time Willy and I made a breeding run with Merton and we stopped at an Amish farm in New Holland. Later on in my life, I found myself driving Amish for a while and I recognized the farm. I asked Abner King if he knew Merton, and he was amazed that I knew him.
Please forgive me for not staying in touch, but thoughts of your family were never far from my mind. My sincere condolences.

Dave Bush, New Holland
