Obituary for Virginia G. "Ginny" Hummer (Kreitz)

Virginia G. “Ginny” Hummer, 86, of New Holland, died peacefully on June 4, 2019 at Fairmount Homes.
Born in Sinking Spring she was the daughter of Paul A. and Gladys L. (Showaker) Kreitz. She was married 66 years on Oct. 26 to Roy S. Hummer.
Ginny owned and operated the Town Hall Restaurant in Blue Ball with her husband from 1965 until 2012.
She was a member of Conestoga Church of the Brethren where she sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Blue Ball Lioness Club and Antique Car Clubs. She also enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time at the shore at Rehoboth Beach.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Deborah M. (Robert) Byler of Gap, Alan S. (Tess) Hummer of East Earl, and Donna L. Hummer of New Holland; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; and 3 brothers, Paul of Wernersville, Donald of Sinking Spring, and Eugene of Wernersville.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 10 at 11 am at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland. Interment will be in the Terre Hill Cemetery.
