Obituary for Theresa M. Burgstahler Knox

Theresa M. Burgstahler Knox, 81, of 5 Faust Lane, Stevens, died Friday, March 13, 2020 at Conestoga View. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Burgstahler in 2002 and is survived by her husband Joseph C. Knox, Jr.

Born in Abington, she was the daughter of the late George and Lillian (Dando) Waller.

Theresa served as bookkeeper for her husband’s VW garage in Langhorne for 25 years.

She was a member of Gospel Tabernacle Church and enjoyed painting and playing the organ.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: James Joseph (Sherri) Burgstahler, Fairless Hills, Robert Burgstahler, Morrisville, Joseph (Lisa) Burgstahler, Phoenixville, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; five siblings: Elizabeth Luzar, Lancaster, Barbara Jean (David) Ruth, Bloomsburg, Sheila Waller, Fairless Hills, PA, Donald (Kelly) Waller, Islip, NY, Helen Stein, Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorraine Harkins and three siblings, Phyllis Feelemyer, George Waller, and Mary Jalloway.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 12 Noon at Gospel Tabernacle Church, 895 Red Hill Rd., Narvon. Interment will be in Memory Gardens. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements. I love you grandmom. You were the most amazing grandmom. Patient and kind. I remember when we went to Disney and I was scared to sleep by myself so you slept in my bed with me. I remember me, you, and Aunt Lori baking together. I still have the first baby doll I ever had that you made for me. You will always have a piece of my heart. Love and miss you.
