Obituary for Shirley J. "Johnston" Fulton
Shirley J. Fulton, 87, of New Holland, died Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Garden Spot Village of complications related to Alzheimer’s. In Hospice care for several weeks Shirley died peacefully in her sleep, with her daughter and son in law by her side.
She leaves behind two children, Scott Allen Fulton and Patricia Toll (John), Grandchildren Scott Allen Fulton Jr, Mitchell Fulton, Mackenzie Fulton, Great Grandson, Gabriel William Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence M. Fulton, Jr. in 2017. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Lawrence Fulton III and Brian Fulton, Granddaughter Samantha Fulton and three sisters.
Born in Linwood, Delaware County, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Mae (Hall) Johnston.
Shirley was a square dancer, sewer, candle maker, crafter, camper, volunteer at her retirement village, homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, New Holland.
Burial will be private in Media Cemetery. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
