Obituary

Robin J. “Rob” Harnish, 60, of Narvon, went to be with the Lord, with his family by his side, on June 26, 2020, following a brief illness.
Rob was born Sept. 13, 1959 in Lancaster, the son of Peggy (Bills) Harnish. His wife, Vickie Lynn (Fryberger) Harnish, died Feb. 17, 2019.
He was self employed as a mason for 42 years. He enjoyed rebuilding his 1967 Firebird over the past 20 years which he took great pride in this accomplishment. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family, and listening to Oldies on Saturday nights around the fire pit.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 2 at 11 am at Gospel Tabernacle, 895 Red Hill Road, Narvon, with viewing from 10-11 am. Interment will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery. To the Man I could Count on...

Worn out Jeans
An Old Beat up T-
That’s the Man
That always stood by me

With that Crooked Smile
& Troublesome Grin
Don’t know where I’d be
If it weren’t for him

Blue Eyes that Shined
With a Heart of Gold
Stood up for what’s right
I did as he told

Whether I Seeked his Guidance
Or in need of a Friend
I’d come to his Garage
& was told to “Come on in”

Rough around the edges
Just said how it was
No Sugar Coatin’ Nothin’
Not much to make a Fuss

The kind of man I could count on
He could NEVER let me down
He’d crank on the Time Machine
Would always be Messin’ Around

I could never help but Smile
When he’d start showin’ off his Toys
“Check out this new part on the FireBird”
Or “Let’s Rev this up & make some Noise!”

Ain’t no doubt
We were a lot alike
I can still Remember
Goin’ for a Ride on his Bike

My Uncle Always was
A Strong Willed Man
Took Pride in his Work
You can tell by his Hands

His Family was his World
I’m sure we could all admit
His Love for them is Grand
& He wasn’t afraid to show it

At Peace in Heaven
Is where he will be
But I know My Uncle
Is ALWAYS there for Me

In his Worn out Jeans
And Old Beat up T-
He is now the Angel
That Stands by me ♥️

Love you Uncle Rob,
Thank you for Always
Being there for me.
I’ll be missing you.
