Obituary for Randolph Harrison Sargent

May eternal light shine upon Randolph H. Sargent, 92, who has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior. May he receive his reward in Heaven with grace and ease for his faithfulness that he exemplified in his daily walk here on earth.
Resident of the Zerbe Retirement Community, Randy passed away at the home on Monday, May 1, 2023.
He was married for 71 years to Mary B. Balducci Sargent. Born in Lexington, VA he was the son of the late William Lamar Griffin Sargent and Susannah Randolph Blain Sargent.
Randolph, decorated Sergeant in the US Army - 111 Airborn Division, was a Jump School Instructor during the Korean War.
He retired as Vice President of Sales at Delaware Stone Quarries following 34 years of employment. He was a member a California E.C.C. in Morgantown, was a long-time member, and Elder of Doylestown Presbyterian Church, and a member and Elder of The First Presbyterian Church of Flushing, New York before that.
Surviving besides his wife is a son, Dean A. husband of Wray Sargent of Kunkletown; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy R. Sargent.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 5, at 1:00 P.M. at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill, PA. Interment in Terre Hill Cemetery with Military Honors. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
