Obituary for Nevin G. Musser

Nevin G. Musser, 85, a resident of Lancashire Hall, passed away at the home on Monday, December 14, 2020. Prior to his time at Lancashire, he was a long-time resident of Welsh Mountain Home.
Born in Churchtown, he was the son of the late Harry G. and Lena Glick Musser.
Nevin had been a carpenter for many years. He was a member of Petra Church. He was a devoted worshipper of Jesus, his Lord and Savior. An introspective quiet man, he wrote poetry and published a short book of his poetry in recent years. A wildflower expert, Nevin tended wildflower gardens wherever he lived. In his younger years, he spent hours photographing and cultivating wildflowers as he hiked. One of his crowning accomplishments was the creation of the Wildflower Trail at Camp Hebron. He was an avid bird watcher, participating in many local bird counts and tracking bird migrations. He enjoyed playing the harmonica and memorizing scripture.
Surviving is a brother, Alvin husband of Erma Musser of Ephrata; and a sister, Edna Stoltzfus of Ephrata, widow of Stephen S. Stoltzfus.
Services and interment in the Conestoga Mennonite Cemetery will be held on privately. A Memorial Celebration for friends and extended family will be held at a later time.
