She is survived by her children Sharon (Richard) Kauffman of Columbia, Sandra (DeVon) Groff of Landisville, Brenda (Josef) Berthold of Lancaster and Byron (Johnette) Wert of Willow Street. She was Nana to 11 grandchildren; Dr. Greta Kauffman, Jordan Kauffman, Kaitlyn Kauffman, Andrew Kauffman, Adrian Groff, Alecia Levy, Austin Groff, Andre Groff, Dominik Berthold, Jeremy Berthold, and Benjamin Wert. She also has five great grandchildren with one on the way in June. She was predeceased by a grandson Micah Berthold.

Millie was a member of Groffdale Mennonite Church and West End Mennonite Fellowship. In 1965, Millie became a pastor’s wife and enjoyed the years of ministry that she and her husband shared with Groffdale Mennonite Church, the churches of the Groffdale District, New Providence Mennonite and West End Mennonite Fellowship. She also enjoyed her job at New Holland ReUZit store prior to her retirement.
Millie greatly enjoyed music, especially Southern Gospel, playing the piano, reading, and being with people. She had the gift of generous hospitality and with her great sense of humor, welcomed and enjoyed being with many people. Most of all, she enjoyed being a grandmother and great grandmother.
The family would like to thank the staff at Landis Homes for their care of our mother. There are too many persons to name, but we are very appreciative of the kindness that each of you gave to both our mother and to us as a family. We are especially grateful to the staff of Lititz House and Lancaster House. You were a second family to mother and we witnessed that again in the care that you gave her in these last weeks of her life. We also want to thank Hospice & Community Care for your support as we walked this journey.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2 at 10 am at Groffdale Mennonite Church, 168 N. Groffdale Road, Leola with the Bishop Lloyd Hoover and Chaplain Jim Leaman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 pm at Landis Homes, West Bethany Chapel, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543 and on Saturday from 9-10 am at the Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Landis Homes Caring Fund, address above.
