Obituary for Larry E. Bevins

Larry E. Bevins, 52, of Lititz, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital.
He was married 26 years to Tricia L. Shirk Bevins. Born in Westminster, MD he was the son of James R. Bevins and Emogene M. Kegley Bevins.
Larry was a 1988 graduate of Pequea Valley High School and had been employed as an Environmental Technician at Eurofins Laboratory for 27 years. He had been involved with the Paradise Leaman Place Fire Co. and the Hazmat2 Environmental Fire Rescue Company. He was also a Boy Scout leader with Troop 28. Larry had a great interest in the Civil War and had been a reenactor with the 39th PA Infantry. As well as an Civil War actor at Field of Screams each fall. He thoroughly enjoyed astrology, arcade games and online gaming, trivia, Sci-Fi movies, Classic Rock music, and collecting rocks and minerals just to name a few. He was a big kid at heart. And a softy for all animals.
Surviving besides his wife is a daughter, Alyssa R. Bevins of Lititz; Fur baby Boo Boo Kitty of Lititz, his father, James R. husband of Jean Bevins of Melbourne, FL; and his mother, Emogene M. Bevins of Leola. Also surviving are his two best friends and honorary brothers, Dennis Jones and Kevin Koller.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 23, at 3:00 P.M at the Bridgeville E.C.C. Cemetery, Route 322, Narvon, PA. All are welcome to attend.
