Obituary for Kenneth E "Red" Yoder Sr.

Kenneth E. “Red” Yoder, Sr., 77, of 1354 Springville Rd., East Earl, died Friday, June 12, 2020 at his home.

Born in Morgantown, he was the son of the late Christian B. and Emma (Sweigart) Yoder.

Red was a truck driver, retiring from Sindall Transport.

He was a member of Word Up Ministries, Gap and enjoyed fishing and going to the beach.

Surviving are three children: Daniel Perry, Brownstown, Vicki married to Ricky Buzzard, Milton, DE, Ken Yoder, Jr., East Earl, three grandchildren: Danielle Buzzard, Mackenzie Diem and Brooke Yoder, and three sisters: Anna Mae Martin, Ephrata, Kathy Clark, Parkesburg and Irma Holmes companion of Henry Riley, Peach Bottom, and by his ex-wife Virginia “Ginny” Beck, Brownstown.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Yoder and John Allen Yoder.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Red’s church family for their care and kindnesses, especially Pastor Buck, the Murphey’s, and the Clevenstine’s. Also a big thanks to Hospice & Community Care for the great care they gave to Red.
