Obituary for Daryl L. Leaman
Daryl L. Leaman, 57, of Narvon, passed away at home on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
He was married 32 years to Linda M. Skowood Leaman. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Clayton M. and Lorraine W. Witmer Leaman.
Daryl was a 1979 graduate of Garden Spot High School. He was employed up until his death as a quarry superintendent at New Enterprise Stone and Lime where he had worked for 41 years.
He was a member of the Bridgeville E.C. Church. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving besides his wife is a daughter, Brooke A. wife of Chad L. Witwer of Terre Hill; two sons, Durran L. husband of Ashley W. Leaman of Stevens, and Derek L. Leaman and his girlfriend Erin M. Hogan of Narvon; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Jean wife of Dave Chambers of East Earl, Gwen wife of Dave Horst of East Earl, and Dawn wife of Ron Fox of Savona, NY.
Daryl had few acquaintances because he became a friend to everyone he met.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 1, at 11:00 A.M. at the Bridgeville E.C. Church, 5971 Division Highway, Narvon, PA with the Rev. Kirk Wolfe officiating. The family will greet friends at the church on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Daryl’s memory may be made to Bridgeville E.C. Church, 5971 Division Highway, Narvon, PA 17555.
