Obituary for Craig A. Miller Jr.

Craig Miller, Jr., 45, passed away at home on July 5, 2019 after his 5 ½ year battle with brain cancer. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Craig Alan Miller, Sr. and Brenda (Hansley) Miller, East Earl. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray M. Miller, Pottstown and Gloria E. (Becker) Miller, Pottstown, and his grandfather, Andrew L. Hansley, Sr., Boyertown. Craig graduated from Garden Spot High School in 1993. He worked for Lyons and Hohl Paving Inc. for 23 years. He loved his job and took pride in doing his best work for the company. Craig will be remembered for his strong faith and his generous heart. He loved physical activity including weight lifting, hiking, and biking. He was also a family man. He lived in East Earl with his wife, Cristen, and their 4 children, Michaela Miller, 19; Gavin Miller, 15; Collin McHugh 20; and Kyle McHugh, 19. In addition to his family, Craig is survived by his grandmother, Margaret A. (Moyer) Hansley, Boyertown, his parents, and sisters, Donna Brubaker and Nikki Stuber and their children.
A Celebration of Life will be held at LCBC Ephrata Campus, 6 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, PA 17522. Visitation will begin at 5:30 pm followed by an informal Celebration of Life Ceremony at 7:00 pm, so please feel free to dress casually. Family and friends look forward to hearing personal memories to honor Craig’s life.

Craig will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, at a future date.
