Craig B. Barnett, 60, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, March 30, 2020.

He was married 34 years to Donna J. Hoover Barnett. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of Agnes L. Williams Barnett and the late J. Bruce Barnett.

Craig was a partner in B & D Masonry for 37 years. He was a 1977 graduate of Manheim Township High School. Craig enjoyed spending time with his close family and friends. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed off-roading in his spare time. Because of his hard-working ethic and care for others, Craig was a man that many looked up to.

Surviving besides his wife and mother, is a son, C. Austin Barnett of Lancaster; and two sisters, Kim and Kristin.

Dear Donna, My sincere condolences are for you and your family. My Mother saw the obituary in the newspaper and clipped it out and mailed it to me. I grew up on Sutton Place when Craig lived on Waverly Ave. I pestered him so often to ride his Rupp minibike, I think he wished I would move away! Anyway, I remember Craig fondly and am saddened to know of his passing. We both graduated from Manhiem Township in 1977. The last I remember seeing him was about 1982 when he lived in an apartment complex where Mike Baran lived. I was re-joining the Air Force that year, and that's why I have been gone from Lancaster since. I don't remember ever meeting Craig's Mom, but I do remember Craig's older Sister. I accidentally ran into her heel one day on my bike. She was not happy. I hope you have treasured up many wonderful times with Craig, He was a wonderful person. He will be missed by many. Mike, (Ralph), Lindsay

Donna and Austin,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Craigs sudden passing. I worked for B&D masonry 30 years ago. I considered Craig a great boss and even better friend. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Mark & Amy Moore

Donna and Austin,

We want to express our sincere condolences of the sudden passing of Craig. We are the neighbours of the property on Creek Hill Road. It is sometimes beyond our human understanding why sudden tragedies happen like this but we can rest assured that God and His peace are still with us.

Love and prayers, the Diener's- Andy, Jean, and Jim

Donna and Austin,

We were shocked to learn of Craig's death. Although we have not had contact for a number of years, we always appreciated his friendship and work at the church. We are sure he will be missed by all of his friends. We also know that your loss is immeasurable.
Someone forwarded Austin's tribute on Facebook to us. It was beautiful.
Our whole family sends condolences. Be sure of our prayers.

Bob & Judy Zimmerman and family
