Obituary for Carl I. Musser

Carl I. Musser, 86, of Narvon, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Hershey Medical Center after a lengthy struggle with congestive heart failure. He is survived by his wife, Betty J. (Good) Musser. They were blessed with 15 ½ years of marriage. His first wife, Anna Mae (Reist) Musser preceded him in death in 1990.
Born in Caernarvon Twp., he was the son of the late Carl K. and Sarah Dorothy (Brown) Musser.
Carl was a plumber for much of his life, retiring from Petershiem Bros. Well Drilling in Morgantown after 20 years.
He was a member of Mt. Culmen E. C. Church. He enjoyed woodworking, tin smithing, and watching the Phillies. He loved and was deeply loved by his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jeffrey L. married to Mary (Martin) Musser, East Earl, two grandchildren, Collin and Emma Musser and a sister Violet Stauffer, Terre Hill.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Hoshauer and Helen Davidson.
His funeral will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill with Pastor Jonathan Brown officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Culmen E. C. Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Eckenroth’s on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. Kindly omit flowers.
