C. Arden Landis, 67, of Bowmansville, went to heaven to see Jesus Thursday, October 22, 2020 at home surrounded by his family after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in Sellersville, PA, he was a son of Warren & Lydia (Bolton) Landis. He was married 47 years to his beloved wife, Caroline (Cartmell) Landis.
Arden was a member at Pine Grove Church.
He worked most recently as an organic farm inspector and dairy farm consultant after roughly 20 years as a dairy farmer.
He enjoyed hunting, baseball, running, gardening, and spending time with his wife that he adored along with the rest of his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are their four children, Joshua, Sheila, married to Matt Manwaring, Johanna, married to Jeff Gehman and Debbie; 16 grandchildren; a brother Robert; sister Joyce; sister Marilyn; and sister Irene.
The family will receive friends and family for a viewing at Weaverland Anabaptist Faith Community on Tuesday, October 27, from 6pm - 8pm. A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, October 28 at 2pm at Weaverland Anabaptist Faith Community, 210 Weaverland Valley Rd, East Earl. A private interment will be held at Pine Grove Church.
