Obituary for Gary Frankel

Gary Frankel, 81, formerly of Havertown, died on November 28, 2017 at Garden Spot Village, New Holland, PA where he had resided for the past 3 years.
He was married 60 years to Janet Lorene McLean Frankel. Born in the Bronx New York, he was the son of the late Julius and Helen Conlin Frankel.
Gary had worked at Philadelphia Electric where he had been employed as a senior systems analyst for 38 years. He was a graduate of Widener University and had served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. Gary was a longtime member of Grace Chapel in Havertown. His passions included fishing, golf, and his grandchildren.

Surviving besides his wife is a son, Stephen husband of Jennifer Frankel of Havertown; two daughters, Caryl-Sue wife of Mark Caldwell of Newtown Square, and Jacquelynn wife of Stephen Tsu of Los Gatos, CA; eight grandchildren, Matthew Frankel, John Frankel, Olivia Caldwell, Samuel Caldwell, Elijah Caldwell, Adeline Caldwell, David Tsu, and Eric Tsu and a brother, Robert husband of Lucy Frankel of Bella Vista, Arkansas.

A Memorial Service will be held on December 7, 2017 at 11 A.M. at the Chapel at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Avenue, New Holland, PA. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Frankel’s memory may be made to The Benevolent Fund at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, PA 17557.
