Obituary for Anna M. Frey (Sonnen)
Anna Mae (Sonnen) Frey, 81, of New Holland, passed away on May 10, 2022 in her residence.
Born in Mill Creek Township, she was the daughter of the late Edward Samuel and Minnie (Sweigart) Sonnen.
She was employed by Red Rose Transit in their maintenance department. She enjoyed sewing, she had made over 150 dresses that were sent to Kenya for charity. She enjoyed refurnishing furniture, gardening, painting and playing cards with her sisters and friends.
Anna is survived by her children; Debra wife of Ronald Shade of New Holland, Dawn wife of Robert Bell of New Holland, Judith wife of Norman Bills of Gap and Rick Frey of Gordonville, grandchildren; Melissa wife of Raymond Walton, Heidi wife of Dillon James, Kirsten Shade and Reianna Dieter, great grandchildren; Damon, Dillyn and Drew Mancino and one expecting great grandson; Cooper James. Also surviving are her siblings; Elaine Rutter, Fay Harnish, Evelyn Schoenbuchner, Robert Sonnen and Russell Sonnen.
In addition to her parents; she is predeceased by three grandchildren; Holly Frey, Michael Bills and Cody and siblings; John Steffy, Elwood Sonnen, Edward Sonnen, Jean Sonnen, Kenneth Sonnen, Shirley Shelly, Betty Weidler, Mary Jane Fry, Leroy Sonnen, June Achey, Patricia Thompson, Vivian Mountz and Gladys Fry.
Services will be held private at the convenience of the family.
