Ada G. Hoover, 77, of 1627 Center Church Road, East Earl, died Thursday, March 28, 2019 at her home after a brief illness.
Born in New Holland, she was a daughter of the late David and Mary (Groff) Martin. Her husband, Levi Hoover, died September 13, 2011.
Ada was a homemaker and a member of the Reidenbach Mennonite Church.
Surviving are 10 children, Edward (Lois) Hoover of Milton, David (Eunice) Hoover of East Earl, James (Elizabeth) Hoover of East Earl, Susie (James) Martin of Milton, Marian (Christian) Martin of Milton, Eva (Elvin) Martin of Milton, Lucille (Henry) Martin of Watsontown, Dorothy (John) Martin of Trenton, KY, Elsie (Glen) Hoover of Pembroke, KY, and Esther (John) Reiff of Watsontown; 64 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; five brothers, Noah (Edna Hoover) Martin of East Earl, Paul (Anna Hoover) Martin of Milton, Elam (Alta Martin) Martin of Watsontown, David Martin of New Holland, and John Martin of New Holland; and four sisters, Susie (Christian) Reiff of East Earl, Alma Martin of New Holland, Martha (Mahlon) Hoover of Ephrata, and Esther (George) Martin of Ephrata.
Preceding her in death is an infant son, John.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 1 at Noon at the late home with further services at 1 pm at Reidenbach Mennonite Church, New Holland with the Bishop John Reiff officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at the late home on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
